PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reasonable vibration-isolating/reinforcing member for use in a wooden house. SOLUTION: The vibration-isolating/ reinforcing member is formed of a fixing bracket 13 for a column, provided with a flange 13a extending orthogonally to a lower edge of a plate-like fixture member, a fixing bracket 12 for a ground sill, provided with a flange 12a extending orthogonally to an upper edge of the plate-like fixture member, and impact buffers 17 and 18, etc. An impact buffer 19 is interposed between both the flanges 12a and 13a which are then fixed to each other by bolts. While the impact buffers 18 and 17 are arranged on rear surfaces of the fixing bracket 13 for the column and the fixing bracket 12 for the ground sill, respectively, wood screws are inserted into screw holes formed in taper washers 15 and 14 arranged on front surfaces of the fixing brackets, respectively, whereby the fixing brackets 12 and 13 are fastened and fixed to the column 11 and the ground sill 10, respectively.
