The invention relates to a method for controlling an electrical machine (1) that comprises a field winding (2) and a stator winding (3). An inverter bridge (5) is mounted on the output terminals (10) downstream of said stator winding (3). The electrical machine (1) can be operated in the control ranges field-oriented control (11), field weakening mode (12) and diode mode (13). The transition from one of the control ranges (11, 12, 13) to the corresponding adjacent of the control ranges (11, 12, 13) is established by an overmodulation of the pulse-width modulation (26) and by limiting the outputs of current regulators (34, 35) of the stator winding (3) of the electrical machine (1). |
