An information transmission device for a construction machine capable of efficiently supplying operation data for the construction machine according to users' needs, the device comprising a construction machine (1) provided with an information control device (4) including an operation data collecting unit (4a) and a communication control unit (4b) containing a transceiver unit, a remotely located base station (9), a transmitting means such as a communication satellite (6), and a selected data outputting means for selecting for transmitting specified operation data out of operation data collected by the operation data collecting unit (4a) of the information control device (4), wherein the selected data outputting means includes an operation data selecting device (9e) (external operating device (12)), and, all provided in the information control device (4), an identifier designating unit (4c) for designating an identifier TN specifying selected operation data, an identifier storing unit (4d), and a transmission data preparing unit (4e) for reading operation data corresponding to an identifier designated by the identifier designating unit (4c) from the operation data collecting unit (4a) and preparing it as transmission data.
