PANEL GLASS FOR CRT, CRT, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THEM

A panel glass for a CRT in which a surface treatment film is formed on the outer surface of the panel so that the net transmittance distribution and reflectance distribution in the effective screen area may satisfy specific formulae. Even if the panel glass is a flattened one, the luminance and contrast over the whole image display screen are uniform. A CRT and method for producing the panel glass and the CRT are also disclosed.
