PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite image forming device where a facsimile operation and a copy operation are attained by using at least a part of a memory in common, that can make copying even when the common use of the memory cannot be permitted by the facsimile operation. SOLUTION: A composite memory 6 can store temporary image data for memory copy, temporary data to generate a print job and temporary image data or the like for transmission of using the memory in the facsimile operation. When the composite memory 6 is occupied by the facsimile operation or the facsimile terminal is busy because printing or transmission of the image data stored in the composite memory 6 has a fault in the facsimile operation, even if the copy operation is set by an operation setting section 13, the memory copy operation using the composite memory 6 is not executed, an LSU control section 4 gives the image read by a read section 1 to a print processing section 5 to conduct direct copy operation through the switching of the image processing section 2. |
