PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic production system constituted so that various production information on production facilities can be served from a portal site when necessary by using a computer system. SOLUTION: This system is equipped with the production facilities, the portal site, and an information transmitting means which connects the both for information communication. The production facilities receive information needed for production from the portal site. The portal site prepares the production information that the production facilities requires, and retrieves and transmits necessary information to the production facilities at a request from the production facilities. The information transmitting means is equipped with an authenticating means which identifies the characteristic ID information when the information is transmitted from one to the other and a charging means which records charging information corresponding to the amount of the information transmitted from one to the other or the transmission time.
