PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of simply and inexpensively discriminating a chlorine-containing plastic material. SOLUTION: The system for discriminating the chlorine-containing plastic material is equipped with a heating part 10 coming into contact with a plastic product P to heat the same and a discrimination part 20 receiving the decomposed gas G generated from the heated plastic product to bring the same into contact with an indicator discolored by the decomposed gas containing hydrogen chloride.
