<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for multiplex communication, with which real-time data and non-real-time data are efficiently multiplexed on the same network and efficiency in the transmission of non-real-time data is improved, without impairing the real time property of the real-time data. SOLUTION: It is determined whether the frame length of multiplexed data exceeds a prescribed length, and when the frame length exceeds the prescribed length, non-audio system data are divided, so that the frame length can be equal to or shorter than the prescribed length. On the basis of a prescribed header, the divided data are multiplexed and transmitted at the next transmitting time. Then, the multiplexed data are demultiplexed to audio system data and non-audio system data and are respectively transmitted to prescribed audio and non-audio ports.</p> |
