PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a GPS use position data detection apparatus of the integrated type with an antenna, for solving the problems with a conventional navigation device, which detects a set position from vehicle position information provided by a GPS receiver, such that while it displays general map information and road area information or the like and provides simple position information, it does not display the purpose of its use as necessary, that enhancing its display functions leads to complication and high costs, and that when traveling at high speeds a driver may overlock signs displayed on a map display device. SOLUTION: A main control means controls a current position computing means and a direction/distance computing means, and information about set positions except the closest hazardous zone is searched from information about set positions except hazardous zones of plural longitudes and latitudes present in a set position storage means. The distance between the set position and the current vehicle position is computed from this information about set positions except the closest hazardous zone and from the current position information of the vehicle, and alarms can be issued by an alarm means when a plurality of predetermined distances to the set position except the hazardous zone are reached and also when the set position except the hazardous zone is reached. |
