PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a splitter unit with an MDF without using a terminal board and its connection cable in ADSL communication. SOLUTION: The DSL splitter unit 110 comprises a plurality of splitter boards 200 for separating a voice signal and a data signal, and a unit housing 202 for containing the plurality of splitter boards. The unit housing 202 comprises connectors 216, 218 for connection with an MDF on the telephone subscriber side, and connectors 220, 222 for connection with an MDF on the telephone exchange side. Each splitter board 200 comprises a modem connector 204 for connecting the wiring from an ADSL modem, connection terminals 208, 210 for connection with the connectors 216, 218, connection terminals 212, 214 for connection with the connectors 220, 222, circuit wiring 230 on a board for interconnecting the modem connector and each connection terminal, and means 234, 246 for separating the voice signal and the data signal passing through the circuit wiring.
