PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily analyze a protocol on each of functions of equipment, which is connected to a network in a short time, even when that equipment corresponds to a multiprotocol. SOLUTION: A video deck 60 stores the correspondence list of a subunit provided in that video deck and a protocol to be used for that subunit in a configuration RQM 63 as a keyword. An IRD 10 reads the keyword, showing the correspondence of the subunit name of a tuner 61 or VCR part 62, which is provided in the video deck 60 and the protocol of that subunit from the configuration ROM 63 of the relevant video deck 60, and analyzes the keyword.
