PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inductor, equipped with great inductance or small DC resistance, in spite of its being an inexpensive product reducing the number of parts and a choke coil. SOLUTION: A choke coil 10 is composed of the inductor, with which a winding wire coil 2 is mounted on one magnetic leg part 1b of a U-shaped core provided with at least two magnetic leg parts 1a and 1b on both sides, and both terminal parts 2a and 2b of the winding wire coil 2 are formed as terminal parts for surface-mounting.
