PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for carrying out horizontal connection work, vertical connection work, and pipe connection work of a plurality of pipe modules so as to be placed at predetermined locations and at predetermined angles in a short period of time with accuracy when the pipe modules manufactured in the factory are brought and installed in the construction field. SOLUTION: A pipe joint is correctly temporarily connected to the first and second pipe modules 1 and 2 so as to be placed at the predetermined locations and at the predetermined angles. A projecting jig 4 is attached to one of the temporarily connected pipe modules, and a recessed jig 5 is attached to the other module, followed by engaging a recess and a projection of the respective jigs with each other. Thereafter, the first and second pipe modules having the respective jigs attached thereto are separated from each other, and they are conveyed from the factory to the construction field. Further, the recessed and projecting jigs are engaged with each other in the construction field, and then the pipe modules are correctly positioned and connected together.
