PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly operate a VOX function even while a portable telephone set is in any usage state. SOLUTION: A storage part 13 stores plural thresholds corresponding to respective handset using state, hands-free using state and earphone using state with values for optimizing the VOX function. Corresponding to the detected result of a usage state detecting part 6, a control part 12 detects which one of handset using state, hands-free using state and earphone using state a portable telephone set 1 is, reads a relevant threshold out of the storage part 13, corresponding to the detected result and outputs that read threshold to a VOX control part 10. Even while the portable telephone set 1 is in any usage state, the VOC function can be exactly operated. |
