<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To charge a proper viewing charge based on the program rating by each program and each individual by combining a minimum charge setting, a method for setting a charge by each program and a method for setting a charge by each individual. SOLUTION: A viewing charge arithmetic unit 11 reads real viewing data stored in a customer managing database 20 and sets the viewing charge of multimedia information by using graphic data for setting the viewing charge stored in a PPV viewer totaling database 12. The data is stored also in a viewer result/viewing charge database 81 in a sponsor server 80. The server 80 investigates the program rating of a broadcasting program and a program rating by each individual or each device on a receiving side from the real viewing data to prepare the graphic data for setting the viewing charge and transmits it to the charging device 10 of the multimedia information viewing charge through a communication line 19. The graphic data is stored also in the database 12.</p> |
