MOTOR ACTUATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of a spindle motor and to reduce the noise at actuation time while securing the reliability of the actuation of the motor. SOLUTION: An actuation signal corresponding to a minimum required actuation current for actuating the spindle motor is sent to a spindle motor driving part to actuate the spindle motor. When the rotational frequency of the motor reaches a rotational frequency a little slower than a target rotational frequency, a system control part sends a command to perform switching to feedback control and the rotational frequency of the spindle motor is controlled thereafter under the feedback control.
