PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio information communication terminal in which a fact that a radio region available at a current position is detected can be recognized in real time. SOLUTION: Under initial state, a data link layer control section 2 delivers a high level to a signal terminal 41a and unlights an LED 41. Upon receiving a command from an operating section 1, the data link layer control section 2 delivers a signal requesting to search detection of a communicable radio region, i.e., a probe request signal, through a physical layer control section 3 and monitors a response signal to the probe request signal or a specific signal from the control section. Upon receiving the response signal or the specific signal, the data link layer control section 2 delivers a low level to the signal terminal 41a and lights the LED 41. When detection of a communicable radio region is disabled after detection of a radio region due to movement of a radio information communication terminal or other cause, a high level is delivered to the signal terminal 41a and the LED 41 is unlighted. |
