SOLUTION: This projector is provided with plural liquid crystal panels 410R, 410G and 410B to respectively modulate plural color light beams, a cross dichroic prism 420 to synthesize a color light beam modulated by an optical modulating device and the projection lens 40 to project a synthesized light beam synthesized by the cross dichroic prism, and field lenses 411, 412 and 413 to condense the synthesized light beam of the color light beam on the entrance pupil of the projection lens 40 are arranged between the liquid crystal panels 410R, 410G and 410B and the cross dichroic prism 420, and color light beam selecting films 421 and 422 of the cross dichroic prism 420 is provided with shading. |
