SLIGHTLY FOAMED POLYURETHANE ELASTOMER AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slightly foamed polyurethane elastomer which realizes the shortening of demolding time and an improvement in mechanical properties as compared with conventional articles as well as improvements in surface properties and coatability, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The slightly foamed polyurethane elastomer is characterized in that (1) it has an overall density (D) in the range from 100 to 900 kg/m3 and (2) the overall density (D) and the compression set (CS2 in %) satisfy the relation of the formula: CS2<=0.00008*D2-0.091*D+42, while the overall density (D) and the diameter (X inμm) of cells observed on the skin surface satisfy the relation of the formula: X<=120e-0.0015D.
