PURPOSE: Motor mounting structure of an air conditioner is provided to disperse vibration of a motor by assembling the motor in point-contacting a mounting member to a cabinet, and to reduce noise by damping the vibration. CONSTITUTION: A motor mounting system for an air conditioner is composed of a motor(15) rotating a blower fan to flow air, and a mounting member(11) fixing the motor in a cabinet(10). The blower fan is inserted to a rotating shaft of the motor in supplying power to flow air, and plural bolt assembling parts are formed in the opposite of the rotating shaft to assemble with the mounting member. A motor assembling unit is formed in the mounting member to assemble the motor, and the mounting member is installed in the cabinet. Plural welding parts(11c) are protruded in the mounting member to point-contact to the cabinet. The mounting member is spot welded into the cabinet with forming protruded welding parts in the mounting member. Vibration is reduced with distributing vibration from the motor by point-contact. Noise is reduced, and the life span of the product is lengthened. |
