METHOD OF ARRANGING THE BOOKING OF ACCOMMODATION USING A COMPUTER NETWORK

A method is provided of arranging the booking of accommodations using a computer network such as the Internet. Service agents register member accommodation suppliers and users. A searchable database of accommodations from the suppliers is created and made available on an Internet website. The website interface permits a user to specify parameters for the selection of accommoda- tions from the database. The user selects and books the accommoda- tion and provides a payment therefor. Confirmation of the booking is provided to the user, the database is updated by withdrawing the availability of the booked accommodation and payments are rendered to the accommodation supplier and the service agents.
