PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply which can reduce stand-by power consumption caused by a switching loss and has a simple construction and a satisfactory cost performance. SOLUTION: This synchronizing burst mode power supply has a power converter converting a frequency of a power on an AC main line from a relatively low frequency into a high frequency, and a gate circuit which makes the power converter start the burst of an output pulse with a high frequency every time when an AC main line power supply is generated within a predetermined range and responds the AC main line power supply. In another embodiment, the power supply has an adjustment circuit having a loop to feedback a current to a gate circuit to adjust and control the power converter preliminarily according to load fluctuation and adjusting the output of the power converter. |
