<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the transmission efficiency of the entire ATM communication network by reducing occurrence of abort and re-transmission of ATM data due to a burst error, to increase the transmission efficiency of a wireless transmission channel. SOLUTION: An ATM cell 41 is separated into a header and a payload, the header is divided in the unit of 1-bit, a 1-bit header is inserted to the payload at least at an interval of 1-bit, an ATM cell 42, to which header bits are distributed among its bits of the payload is assembled and is transmitted to a wireless transmission channel 3.</p> |
