PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for data distribution which adequately insert stored CM data to be reproduced when distributing data, and a storage medium storing their control program. SOLUTION: Of this data distribution system, a CM providing server 1 and a distributing server 11 are equipped with a data storage means which stores data having an advertisement reproduction area inserted, an advertisement transmitting means which transmits advertisement data to a communication terminal before distributing the data, and a data distributing means which distributes the data stored in the data storage means to the communication terminal and a receiving terminal 21 is equipped with an advertisement storage means which receives and stores the sent advertisement data and a data reproducing means which interrupts the reproduction of the data according to the advertisement reproduction area inserted into the data and reproduces the advertisement data stored in the advertisement storage means when receiving and reproducing the data distributed by the data distributing means. |
