PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system, in which a user can easily obtain information related to a program and specific scene provided by broadcasting media such as a television and a radio via a communication network such as the Internet. SOLUTION: When interest information, showing an object requested by the user, is received from a user terminal 10 and an information providing request is accepted from the user, a correspondence table 27 in which the address of an information site 50 that opens information related to the object is registered is retrieved for each object designated as the interest information, and the address of the corresponding information site 50 is notified to the user. The table 27 registers the address of the information site 50, providing relevant information in correspondence with the broadcasting time of each scene of a broadcasted program, and the corresponding address is notified to the user by referring to the table 27 on the basis of a request transmission time from the user terminal 10. |
