PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To early and economically remove a solidified residual pig iron from the inside of a furnace to the outside of the furnace in a short time under the integration state of the iron in the blast furnace. SOLUTION: The solidified residual pig iron 19 supported by an iron shell side hanging tool 24 fixed to a tuyere 23 disposed at the lower end part of the upper part in the furnace body 1 hung by a lift jack 16 and a residual pig iron hanging band 25 is lowered by using the lift jack 16 and laid on a horizontal movement table 29. Successively, the table 29, on which the iron 19 is placed, is moved onto rails 32 for truck at the outside of the furnace from rails 28 for truck at the inside of the furnace by operating a center hole jack 35 disposed near the rails 32 for truck at the outside of the furnace and is drawn out to the outside of the furnace.
