Cooling photovoltaic modules for increasing efficiency by sticking heat sinks to rear side to allow heat removal by convection

In order to avoid gaps, the rear side of the modules are provided with heat sinks that are corrosion resistant and have rib or pin structures in straight or waveshaped lines. The heat sinks ensure heat removal by free convection, so that the temperature can be reduced to 35 deg.C to give an increase in efficiency of 25 per cent.
