PURPOSE: To provide an alternator, compact in size and high in output power, with a lowered ventilating resistance between the stator winding and the rectifier, an increased cooling effect of the rectifier and the stator winding and with the improved AC connecting work. CONSTITUTION: The constitution is the plural lead wires expanded from the group of the stator windings of each phase consisting of the stator winding 16 are connected together via the terminal assembly 60 for 3 phase AC connection, while the terminal assembly 60 for 3 phase AC connection is partitioned oppositely with the top end of the coil group 16r of the stator winding 16 by positioning at the rear side against the axial direction of fan 5. |
