ACCESSORY AND RECESS IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM FOR CIRCUIT BREAKERS

An identification system for identifying correct placement of various circuit breaker accessories (120, 130) within recesses (24) of a circuit breaker molded frame (12) is disclosed. The system includes recess symbols (26) adjacent the recesses (24) in the frame (12) and matching accessory symbols (52) positioned on a front, visible surface (122, 132) of the accessories (120, 130). The system may further include name labels (90) positioned on the accessories (120, 130) for labeling the accessories' names (98). A circuit breaker (10) employing the identification system of the present invention is also disclosed.
