PURPOSE: A wet sludge dryer is provided to easily carry and transfer such a sludge containing moisture as garbage by heating and drying and to use the dried garbage as a feed or a fertilizer. CONSTITUTION: A wet sludge dryer comprises a boiler(200) generating and supplying a heat transfer medium, a heating coil(500) forming a circulation path of the heat transfer medium, a transfer pipe(300) installed between the boiler and the heating coil to dry a sludge by directly heating, a temperature sensor sensing the internal temperature of the transfer pipe, and a control unit connected to the temperature sensor to keep a uniform temperature by turning on/off a burner. By the heat transfer medium passing through the heating coil, heat is applied to the wet sludge transferred by a transfer screw(400) installed in a service pipe(310). Therefore, the moisture contained in the sludge is evaporated.
