PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp with no tube covered on a lead of a power smoothing capacitor, high productivity, the fixed power smoothing capacitor, and a stable quality. SOLUTION: This compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp 1 comprises: a holder 2 holding the fluorescent lamp 1; a lighting circuit 3 for lighting the fluorescent lamp 1; a case 5 housing the lighting circuit 3; and a globe 6 fixed to the case 5 and covering the fluorescent lamp 1. The power smoothing capacitor and a current limiting choke coil in the lighting circuit 3 are integrated to form an integrated unit 12. |
