PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease inhomogeneous irregular display caused by stray capacitance due to an insulating layer between a metal reflector and an ITO electrode in a reflection type liquid crystal display panel. SOLUTION: In the reflection type liquid crystal cell structure having a metal thin film reflector 3 on the surface of a first substrate 1 and having an ITO electrode 5 with an insulating thin film 4 interposed, the ITO electrode 5 on the first substrate 1 is used for signals, while an ITO electrode 6 on the second substrate 9 is used for scanning. By this constitution, excellent display quality with decreased inhomogeneous irregular display can be obtained. |
