<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely open the valve of a water supply pipe joint for connecting a hose for a washing machine. SOLUTION: A pipe joint body 1 having a thread-mount part 22 and a spigot part 18 in its upstream side and downstream side respectively and having a lock ball groove 19 therebetween in its outer circumference is provided with a through hole 13 bored in its center, a poppet valve 3 seating on and separating from a valve seat 10 is provided in the valve seat 10 on the way to the through hole 13, an O ring 9 is fitted to the outer circumference of a shade part 11 of the poppet valve 3 so as to be a seal in the valve opening, and a contraction ring 14 is formed in the downstream side of the valve seat 10 of the through hole 13 as a bearing of the shade rear face for limiting the deformation of the O ring 9 in seating, so that, if the O ring 9 is deformed and stuck thereto, it is limited so as to secure the operation in the valve opening.</p> |
