<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and stably treat metal-containing waste water, to recover valuable metals and to reduce the amount of sludge generated. SOLUTION: Bivalent iron is oxidized into trivalent iron using a chemical oxidizer while the pH is held to 3 to 5 by an alkali agent, further, organic matters in the waste water is oxidized and decomposed to form and recover the hydroxide of iron, and after that, the pH is controlled to 8 to 10 by an alkali agent, and the hydroxide of the other metal is formed and recovered.</p> |
