<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an electronic auction mediation system which can be stably operated and prevents a person desiring to bid such as a prospective purchaser from missing his/her bidding the opened electronic auction, updating a bid price, or the like without a burden to him or her. SOLUTION: A mediation system 4 refers to a database server 43 to generate a mailing list of prospective purchasers who have been registered as persons desiring to purchase a pertinent commodity or the classification including this commodity, and an electronic mail informing that electronic auction will be opened is transmitted to persons of this mailing list. When an electronic mail indicating a bid price is returned, the medication system 4 transmits an electronic mail including this bid price to persons of the mailing list. When the number of return mails exceeds a prescribed limit level, a mail transmission/ reception control part 46 limits the number of broadcasting mails correspondingly to a certain return mails and transmits a broadcasting mail to users who have already bid and users determined by random numbers.</p> |
