PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of the miss-landing of the electron beam due to the thermal expansion of a frame by the heat generated in a grid element by the electron beam and transmitted to a part of the frame when operating a cathode-ray tube. SOLUTION: A heat radiating relay member 41 is provided so as to be brought in contact with the inner surface of a panel 24 of a cathode-ray tube 23 and a color selecting mechanism 26, and the heat generated in the color selecting mechanism 26 is radiated from the panel 24 through the relay member 41.
