PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven blower capable of restraining the waveform of load current from being distorted and reducing the rate of harmonic current components, by changing the field core having non-linear magnetization characteristic to the one having magnetization characteristic nearly linear, in a motor used for the motor-driven blower used in a cleaner or the like. SOLUTION: A gap dimension between a field core 12 and an armature core 4b is set so as to increase gradually from a field teeth front end 14a toward the central part 14b of teeth.
