PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily generate a three-dimensional model from a two-dimensional image without using three-dimensional data. SOLUTION: In this method for generating the three-dimensional model by deforming a three-dimensional standard model DS, the standard model DS is projected onto a two-dimensional picture FT obtained by photographing an object with the camera by using a camera parameter when the object is photographed, the model DS is fitted to the picture FT, also rough alignment of the standard model and the picture FT is performed at that time, a scale of a z direction is obtained on the basis of the scale information of x and y directions obtained in rough alignment, and the standard model in a depth direction is deformed on the basis of the obtained scale of the z direction.
