PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LCD device with an improved repairability corresponding to requirements such as resource saving, reusability and so on. SOLUTION: The LCD device is provided with an LCD panel terminal 4 of an LCD panel 1 and a dust proof sheet 8 placed opposite to a connection part B on the rear side of a TAB(tape automated bonding) output terminal 5 of a TAB 2 and having a dimension to close off a gap S formed between the LCD panel 1 and a circuit substrate 3. A counter edge 8a on the LCD panel 1 side of the dust proof sheet 8 is stuck to an end face 1a of the LCD panel 1 with an adhesive such as a double sided adhesive tape and its counter edge 8b on the circuit substrate 3 side is pressed to stick to an end face 3a of the circuit substrate 3 with repulsive force of the dust proof sheet 8. Consequently the gap S formed between the LCD panel 1 and the circuit substrate 3 is closed off with the dust proof sheet 8 and invasion of foreign matters made of metal and so on into the connection part B of the LCD panel terminal 4 of the LCD panel 1 and the TAB output terminal 5 of the TAB 2 is prevented.
