<p>A personal information managing system for facilitating movement of personal information incident to replacement of a portable telephone when performing maintenance and management of personal information. A mobile station unit (100) comprises a user interface (110) for communicating information with a user, a transmitting/receiving section (120) for communicating with a base station unit (200) through an antenna (150), a memory (130) for storing therein personal information and the user identification number of the user, and a section (140) for controlling operation of the respective sections and components. The base station unit (200) comprises a transmitting/receiving section (220) for communicating with the mobile station unit (100) through an antenna (210), a memory (230) having a memory area of the same number as the previously registered user identification number for storing therein personal information related to the user identification number, and a section (240) for controlling operation of the respective sections and components.</p> |
