PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion device for improving heat recovery rate of a burner by suppressing excessive feed of combustion air to all gas burners, while a proper amount of combustion air is fed to part of the burners to be made to effect combustion, even by decreasing the number of the burner parts to be made to effect combustion. SOLUTION: The combustion device comprises a gas burner 3, having a plurality of burner parts 3a-3c; and a combustion control means H to control operation of a combustion air feeding means 4 and fuel feed regulating means 18a-18c, the combustion device varying the number of the burner parts 3a-3c to stop combustion. Feed suppression means 20a-20c for suppressing feeding of combustion air to the burner parts 3a-3c to stop combustion are freely switched to a suppression operation state and a suppression release state. The feed suppression means 20a-20c are switchable occasioned by variation of the number of the burner parts 3a-3c, caused to effect combustion by a combustion control means H. The combustion air feeding means 4 is operated, such that a proper amount of combustion air is supplied to the burner parts 3a-3c to effect combustion. |
