<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston rotation preventive structure of a swash plate compressor capable of decreasing the total outside diameter of compressor by reducing the size and weight of the piston. SOLUTION: The piston rotation preventive structure of swash plate compressor is to restrict the rotation of the piston in a bridge part 2 having a piston head part 3, an inner flange 41 formed on the back of the piston head part, a web 42 extending in its axial direction from the top of the inner flange, and an outer flange 43 bent downward at the end of the web part in such a way as confronting the inner flange, wherein the arrangement further includes a pair of stopper grooves 47 formed from the two sides of the web part oversurface till the specified position on the piston head part side and a guide groove 17 formed in the longitudinal direction in the inside surface of the front housing 11 in such a way as having a width mating with the distance between the stopper grooves.</p> |
