PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulating covert for a screw whose removal and mounting are not required in a later disassembling operation and a later assembling operation as long as the insulating cover is attached once in the beginning, and which can be used for many types in the insulating cover for the screw by which the end of the lead wire of an electronic component soldered to a printed-circuit board is insulated from the tip of the thread of the screw in a position adjacent to the end. SOLUTION: One method from among the following methods is used. 1) A method wherein an insulating cap 1 which is formed of rubber or styrene foam is fixed by a pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape 2 so as to cover the screw thread 3a as a whole, 2) a method wherein an insulation part 4 whose inside is a hollow is formed at the tip of the screw thread 3a, and 3) a method wherein an insulating sheet 5 in which a pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape 6 for fixation is formed at the peripheral part covers the tip of the screw thread 3a, and its central part is expanded and contracted freely so as to match the protrusion of the screw thread 3a.
