PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal type continuously variable transmission capable of reducing the delay of loading and a variation in loading by stabilizing friction in relation to the horizontal movement of a power roller in the low range and reducing a variation in friction in relation to the horizontal movement of plural power rollers. SOLUTION: Endless track ball bearings 96 for supporting pressing force acting in the thrust direction and power transmitting force acting in the radial direction while horizontally movably supporting a power roller 18c are inclined and arranged in the positions separated upward and downward from a power roller rotary shaft 15a between an outer ring 94 and a power roller housing part 91 along the horizontal direction of the power roller 18c.
