PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a universal joint with satisfactory workability in joining with other members and superior heat resistance despite of a simple-constitution universal joint. SOLUTION: One end of a cylindrical first member 10 is circumferentially rotatably and axially non-detachably fitted in one end of a cylindrical second member 20. A first packing 17 and a second packing 18 having fireproof expansion are provided between the outer circumferential face 12 of the first member 10 and the internal circumferential face 22 of the second member 20 in the rotatable fitting part. The first member 10 and the second member 20 are formed with screw parts 27 and 30 for joining with the other members in their other ends respectively. The first member 10 and the second member 20 are formed with tool hook parts 28 and 31 in their outer circumferences respectively.
