摘要

PURPOSE: To solve the problem that display characteristics are spoiled or different by pixels since variation in the area of a storage capacity part disorders an electric field applied to a liquid crystal layer when a liquid crystal display device having areas which are not covered with a pixel electrode among pixel areas is provided with pixels differing in storage capacity. CONSTITUTION: An opening part is provided on at least one of conductive layers constituting storage capacity and the external edge of the storage capacity is in the same shape irrelevantly to the pixels. Consequently, even when the value of the storage capacity is varied with the pixels, the aperture rate is made constant and the electric field at a display part can be held equal.
