A security device for a caravan

A security device for a rotatable member 14 comprises a first component 32 which can slide over and secure onto the rotatable member such that they rotate together. A second component 34 has a unique first end 54 which is co-operable with the first component, a tool may be fitted to the second end 56 to allow rotation. The device also includes a cover member 36 which fits over at least part of the first component and comprises a key operated lock 64 thus preventing access to the first component. The device is particularly suitable for use on a caravan support stanchion to prevent theft of the vehicle.
