PURPOSE: A method for managing a voice mail using a mobile communication network and a system for performing the same are provided to automatically set a mode of a mobile communication terminal as a voice mail mode in a predetermined time and block various calls which disturbs the calm of a user using the mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: A VMS(Voice Mail System)(350) stores an inputted voice message. A voice mail management unit(340) has a certain timer(342), receives a personal voice mail management signal from a mobile communication terminal(100) through a BTS(Base Transceiver Station), a BSC(Base Station Controller), and an MSC(Mobile Switching Center), and checks a current time by a uniform period in case that the personal voice mail management signal is a VMS automatic conversion signal. The voice mail management unit(340) converts a receiving mode of the mobile communication terminal(100) into a voice mail mode in case that the current time is within a time range set by a user and converts the receiving mode of the mobile communication terminal(100) into a call mode in case that the current time is out a uniform time range. |
