FLAMEPROOF MELANGE FABRIC AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE: A process of preparing a melange fabric is provided by combined spinning of flameproof polyester staple fiber and dope-dyed staple fiber for dyeing and weaving. Whereby, the fabric exhibits satisfactory flameproof properties and a luxurious melange effect. CONSTITUTION: Dope-dyed staple fiber for dyeing in the range of 2 to 38% by weight is subjected to combined spinning with flameproof polyester staple fiber and weaving. The dope-dyed staple fiber for dyeing is a mixture of a suitable amount of dope-dyed acrylic staple fiber and a suitable amount of dope-dyed polyester staple fiber. The flameproof polyester staple fiber has a fiber length of 32 to 55mm and a single staple fiber fineness of 1 to 3 deniers.
