The invention relates to a method for transmitting data according to which data is transmitted by a transmitter to at least one receiver over at least one transmission channel. The transmitter contains means for transmitting at least one data packet, and the receiver contains means for storing data packets as well as means for combining data packets. According to the inventive method, the data packet is checked for corruption inside the receiver. In the existence of a corrupt and incorrigible data packet, this data packet is stored in the receiver. An additional data packet related to said previous data packet is transmitted by the transmitter to the receiver and, in the existence of a corrupt and incorrigible additional data packet, the corrupt data packets are divided into partial pieces and assembled to form combined new data packets, and the combined new data packets are checked for corruption. |
